Respiratory Sleep and Obesity Physician

Carol has been in specialty practice since 2007.  In 2008 she started The Canberra Hospital Sleep Disorders Service. She was The Canberra Hospital Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Clinical Director for 3 years and stepped down in late 2024 to take a break from Hospital Practice.  Carol is on long service leave for 2025/2026 and will be back practising at Canberra Hospital in 2027. She was previously Lead Physician for The Canberra Obesity Management Service and The Canberra Hospital Sleep Medicine.  Carol is APHRA certified in both Respiratory & Sleep Medicine as well as General Internal Medicine.  She has SCOPE certification in medical obesity management and is passionate about delivering excellent care to patients.  Carol is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, as well as English, with research interests in sleep medicine and medical weight management.  She has been appointed as a Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the Australian National University.  In her spare time Carol loves camping and exploring the beautiful Australian Outback.
