
Dr Matthew Lindfield

As the current clinical lead for interventional pulmonology at The Canberra Hospital, Dr. Matthew Lindfield is a dedicated respiratory and sleep physician with expertise in a wide range of respiratory conditions, including lung cancer, advanced bronchoscopic procedures, asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, sarcoidosis, as well as sleep medicine. He is a member of the ethics and grand round committees at The Canberra Hospital, holds SCOPE certification in medical obesity management, and has presented his work on interventional pulmonology at the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand. Matthew is a passionate educator and holds the position of associate lecturer at the Australian National University. His commitment to advancing patient care is evident through his research contributions, which include publications in respiratory and sleep medicine and his involvement as an investigator in clinical trials for interstitial lung disease.
